Slime planet

Millie is absolutely obsessed with slime, and I happened to come across slime planet on instagram, and thought we would give their tropical slime workshop (available during the summer) a go for Millie’s birthday.

We arrived 15 minutes before our session, as advised in a reminder email, which was really useful. We went by train and got off at Loughborough junction and slime planet was literally 1 minute away, round the corner. The outside looked pretty cool and got the girls very excited! They soon opened their doors and were very welcoming, it’s run by 2 lovely ladies.

They start by getting aprons on all of the children, then turning down the lights and watching a great slideshow on a giant projector which was all slime related and very funny.

They then each go to their own station on one of the 3 large tables, which is set out with a bowl and spoon each, they then take the children through the (very well thought out with everything perfectly portioned out) slime making, getting to chose their own colours, glitter and even scents, they then get a pot to take it home in.

After that it’s not over… the ladies then make a gigantic slime, which all of the children get to stretch out in a big circle, then take home a piece each, for this second slime, you can either bring own small pot/tub, or purchase one if theirs for just £1.

They also have slimes for sale, some of which they’ve made themselves, Millie actually chose one of the ones the ladies made, which was a really good slime with tonnes of glitter in it.

They also have a little photo op with a small picture frame wall to remember the day

Tickets prices are £15/£15.99 each child (accompanying adult/s are free)

They also offer childrens parties which is awesome and I wish I knew beforehand as Millie would have loved that

When we left, we found a lovely little ice cream place across the road which was delicious!

At the moment they have these workshops all for ages 3-16years The original slime workshop The glow slime workshop Slimetacular workshop 22nd-31st October
