North Pole breakfast ideas

Welcome to my North Pole breakfast blog post, I’ve been doing these every year on the 1st December, but you can do them whenever you like, some people do them on Christmas Eve, this is just when I do it, there’s no right or wrong day to do it.

Anything goes The North Pole breakfast is a breakfast you shouldn’t show your dentist lol, it’s full of all the things a child would love to eat for breakfast but is never usually allowed, so that sugary cereal they beg you for, pancakes, whipped cream, chocolate spread all that beautiful stuff

So how I start is, the night before, once they’re in bed, I get the table set up so all I have to do in the morning is put out the food, I start with a disposable tablecloth, so that when it’s all over you can scoop it all up for an easy clean up. I love the disposable Christmas colouring in tablecloth for an added activity, this year I got mine from home bargains, but you can go for anything that goes with your theme.

Then you need plates or/and bowls, you can get Christmas themed paper plates from Poundland or Amazon, I’ve got a set of Christmas plates that I’m going to use this year, and I got 4 new white star bowls from home bargains for £2.50 each.

You can add paper serviettes, I usually get mine from Poundland, this year I’ve actually got some leftover from last year, then cups, you can use anything from paper cups from Poundland, Christmas mugs old or new, this year I got a set of 4 Disney glasses from home bargains for under £4.

Food ideas… Pancakes and/or waffles with different toppings like Nutella, strawberries, whipped or squirty cream. French toast with maple syrup. Cooked breakfast, bacon and eggs. Toast or crumpets with different spreads. Cereals and milk of your choice. Bagels with spreads or fillings.

Drink ideas… Orange, apple juice or their favourite one. Hot chocolate. Warm milk of your Choice.

If you have an Elf visitor and doing your North Pole breakfast on 1st December, they might make their first appearance here, our Elf Sparkles usually brings a letter with her for the girls.

I like to give the girls some Christmas pyjamas on their seats too, I used to wait and give them to them in their Christmas Eve boxes, but then I realised they would hardly get any use out of them, where as on 1st December they get to wear the for the whole month.

I hope you’ve found this helpful, my next one will be Christmas Eve boxes so keep an eye out
